The China Training Institute of BSR held a training of Energy Assessment & Efficiency Solutions for the Manufacturing Industry on July 29-30 in Guangzhou. There were totally 35 participants from brands and suppliers attending this training which include PUMA, ELECTROLUX and IFC. The training was delivered by Mr. Tan FuTai, who is the head of Energy Balance Department of Guangzhou Energy Audit and Research Institute. Mr. Tan has over 7 years experience in energy saving area and deep understanding in factory energy efficiency programs such as how to identify energy saving opportunities, how to handle challenges and develop action plans. Mr. Tan equipped all the participants with knowledge of energy policy trends, challenges and opportunities, how to implement energy assessment, and achieve returns of invest.
The training was highly evaluated by the participants. After training, BSR encouraged all participating suppliers to develop their own action plans of energy saving and put it into action.
