BSR held a training of sustainable water management in the textile and apparel industry in Guangzhou on September 7, 2010. The training was in collaboration with BSR and the Guangdong Society of Environmental Science and there were more than 40 people attending, who came from brands and factories.
The training was delivered by Professor Huang Rui Min, who came from South China University of Technology. Professor Huang has deep study in waste water treatment and sustainable water management. He also has rich field experience in waste water techniques in textile and apparel industries. During the training, Professor Huang presented a lot of new ideas and suggestions to the participants.
