Dear BSR Friends,
Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) and TUV Rheinland is going to conduct a joint Training and Fair for NGOs & Brands on Partnerships in the Supply Chain on November 29th, 2011 (Tuesday) in Guangzhou to better provide companies and NGOs with more knowledge, resources and opportunities for partnering on supply chain issues.
This will be an excellent opportunity for companies to learn about the opportunities to partner with NGOs in different ways that can benefit companies and their suppliers as well as NGOs, whilst also learning from each other’s experiences. BSR will present the results of a mapping of potential NGO partnership opportunities for companies and there will be 5 – 6 case studies of NGOs & brands which will be shared during the training. Further, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and network widely in the fair itself.
We hope to foster new and better partnerships and anticipates 50 - 60 brands and their key suppliers attending along with 10-20 NGO representatives. We sincerely hope that brands will utilize this opportunity to expose their suppliers to new ideas in partnering with NGOs which can benefit the business and its key stakeholders through various social, economic or environmental programs.
We sincerely invite you to join us for this unique event on November 29th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Participants include representatives from:
